Implementation of Market and Operational Framework
As Alberta reaches higher levels of wind penetration, it is important, both to system reliability and to the successful development of renewable resources in Alberta, that the impact on power system operations and on market participants is understood.
The MOF Recommendation Paper represents the culmination of valuable work done through industry work groups and provides a set of recommendations for enhancements to rules, practices and procedures and requirements needed to implement the MOF and solicits stakeholder comments on those recommendations.
