Implementation of Market & Operational Framework for Wind Integration in Alberta Update: Stakeholder Comment Matrix Deadline Extension Notice

Dear Stakeholders:
On March 23, 2009, the AESO hosted a stakeholder session at The Metropolitan Conference Centre in Calgary to discuss the recently released “Recommendation Paper: Implementation of the Market and Operational Framework for Wind Integration.” The session was well-attended and we thank stakeholders for their participation. We have posted the presentation materials for more information.
Given the level of interest and the comprehensive nature of the recommendation paper, a number of stakeholders indicated that they would appreciate some additional time to review the paper. Accordingly, the AESO will extend the deadline for submission of comments and stakeholders interested in providing comments on the recommendation paper should submit their comments using the AESO comment matrix by end of day April 17, 2009.
