Wind Integration Stakeholder Session August 12, 2009
Dear Stakeholders:
The AESO is pleased to invite all interested stakeholders to attend a session to receive an update on the AESO’s latest wind integration initiatives. The agenda will cover the following topics:
1. General review of stakeholder responses to the MOF (Market and Operational Framework for Wind Integration) Implementation Paper
2. Status report on the Wind Power Forecasting Request for Proposal (RFP) released June 23
3. Cost Recovery for Wind Power Forecasting within the 2010 General Tariff Application
4. Consultation Plan:
· Submission of wind generator data and information to support
wind power forecasting
· Wind power management
· Supply Surplus
5. Update on key transmission reinforcement initiatives supporting wind integration
This session is an opportunity for stakeholders to provide input on a number of topics related to wind integration in Alberta.
The session will be held in Calgary on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 from 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the Lecture Theatre of the Metropolitan Centre, 334 – 4th Avenue S.W. Calgary, Alberta.
