Alberta Reliability Standards
As part of the AESO’s mandate to carry out the compliance monitoring function for reliability standards under Section 23 of the T-Reg, and in accordance with ISO rule 12, the AESO has established a Compliance Monitoring Program (CMP) to set forth the program it will follow as applicable to entities subject to any Alberta reliability standard(s).
The AESO is committed to working with market participants and interested parties to foster an understanding of Alberta reliability standards, to establish and maintain an infrastructure to meet the obligation of market participants to comply with these standards.
