AESO "Whistleblower" Policy
The AESO believes it is important that external parties dealing with the company have a formal process available to report either violations of the AESO employee code of conduct or any illegal activity by an AESO employee. The AESO’s code of conduct requires employees to observe the law and to meet high standards of business and personal ethics at work.

To make a complaint to the AESO, any third party or stakeholder can speak with, or submit their concern in writing to, Larry Kram, senior legal counsel. This process is intended to be in addition to any other avenue an external party may use to submit a complaint to, or about the AESO.

Complaint Process
All complaints will be promptly reported to, and investigated at the direction of, the CEO/AESO Board Chair. When a formal investigation is required, complaints will be referred to the Chair of the Audit Committee. This committee of the AESO Board will oversee all formal investigations.

All reported violations or suspected violations or concerns regarding corporate accounting practices, internal controls or auditing must be communicated by the CEO/AESO Board Chair to the Chair of the Audit Committee. The Chair of the Audit Committee must immediately notify the Audit Committee of any such complaint and work with the Audit Committee until the matter is resolved.
