AESO Reliability Committee (ARC)
The AESO Reliability Committee (ARC) serves as a forum for owners, operators and users of the transmission system to provide advice to the AESO regarding standards, criteria, procedures, rules and processes of maintenance, security and reliability matters. The committee strives to provide the AESO with a high level perspective on individual standards.
ARC was formed in compliance with sections 5(3), 5(4) and 19(4)(a) of the Transmission Regulation (AR 86 / 2007). In addition, working groups have been established to provide input to the detailed requirements contained within the standards.
