2009 Rates Update

On March 12, 2009, the AESO filed an application to update the levels of its rates to reflect costs approved by the Alberta Utilities Commission ("AUC") and the AESO Board for the 2009 calendar year and billing determinants forecast by the AESO for the same period.  The application did not include any changes to the structure of the rates, the methodology used to calculate the rate levels, or the terms and conditions of service currently approved in the AESO's tariff.  The application will be reviewed and approved through a regulatory proceeding in accordance with a schedule set by the AUC.
