The AESO is Canada's first customer-focused exchange for electricity. As an independent system operator, the AESO leads the safe, reliable and economic operation and planning of Alberta's interconnected power system.
The key mandate of the Customer Interconnections team is to develop and maintain strong relationships between the AESO and the transmission customer. The team offers a first point of contact for critical issues and is focused on providing front-end support in the early stages of the interconnection process and ongoing overall support during the customer lifecycle.
The Energy Market Participant Support Team works with new and experienced energy market participants and transmission customers alike to resolve concerns and provide ongoing training and account management.
