Kirby North Central Processing Facility Connection

Canadian Natural Resources Limited (Canadian Natural) has applied to the AESO for transmission system access to connect its proposed oil sands recovery facility, called the Kirby North Central Processing Facility (the Facility) in the Conklin area. The Facility will be served by Canadian Natural's proposed Margie 1034S substation. Canadian Natural's request can be met by the following solution:

    • Add one new 138 kV circuit to connect the Facility to the existing 138 kV transmission line 789L.
    • Add or modify associated equipment as required for the above transmission developments.
