    Morrison 2051S Substation

The need for the Morrison 2051S Substation has been cancelled. On March 9, 2017, the AESO received correspondence from AltaGas Holdings Inc. (AltaGas) informing the AESO that there is no longer a need for transmission system access to connect its proposed AltaGas Kent Energy Plant in the Cold Lake area. Accordingly, the AESO has applied to the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC) for cancellation of the needs identification document (NID) approval.
