Automated Dispatch and Messaging System ("ADaMS") enhancements
As part of the AESO’s on-going efforts to improve ADaMS functionality for participants, the following enhancements will be implemented on November 29, 2016.
Enhancement to the Dispatch Variance Notification (DVN) functionality
DVN has been enhanced to provide an optional ADaMS warning message whenever a wind curtailment directive is issued via SCADA to a wind asset. This configurable warning message will be sent whenever the curtailment directive level is imposed, changes or is removed. Further details on this feature, as well as how to enable it, can be found in the most recent update to the Dispatch Variance Notification Functionality and Registration Guideline which can be found by visiting www.aeso.ca and following the path: Rules, Standards and Tariff > Compliance > ISO Rules Compliance > DVN Tool for assisting participants with compliance obligations.
New dispatch history error message
An error message will now be generated when a user attempts to retrieve more than 180 days of dispatch history.
Further details on these enhancements can also be found in the most recent version of the ADaMS user manual. To request a copy, please contact email@example.com or call the AESO FirstCall line at 1-888-588-AESO (2376).
