    Planned System Maintenance for AESO Systems

    As part of the AESO’s ongoing efforts to ensure reliability and improve performance of the AESO platforms, we will be performing system maintenance that will result in the unavailability of the Energy Trading System (ETS) and Automated Dispatch and Messaging System (ADaMS) for the periods listed below.

    January 31, 2017 from 10:10 a.m. for approximately 40 minutes

    • ADaMS will be unavailable for the duration of the outage. System Controllers will be issuing dispatches via telephone.
    • Updates to AESO Reports may be delayed.

    February 1, 2017 from 1:10 p.m. for approximately 40 minutes

    • ETS will be unavailable for the duration of the outage. Energy and Ancillary Service restatements should be reported to System Controllers by telephone.

    February 1, 2017 from 5 p.m. for approximately 40 minutes

    • Ancillary Services restatements in ETS will be delayed during the outage.

    February 2, 2017 from 10:10 a.m. for approximately 40 minutes

    • Submissions and restatements in ETS will be delayed during the outage.
    • Updates to AESO Reports may be delayed.

    February 2, 2017 from 1:10 p.m. for approximately 20 minutes

    • ADaMS will be unavailable for the duration of the outage. System Controllers will be issuing dispatches via telephone.
    • ETS will be unavailable from 1:10 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. Energy and Ancillary Service restatements should be reported to System Controllers by telephone during this period.

    The above outages will also be communicated via ADaMS and the AIES Event Log on the day of the outage, as per normal outage communication processes.
