      The following revenue sufficiency price strips for both annual power and gas are being provided for reference following the July 27, 2018 stakeholder session. The scenario price strips were used to test revenue sufficiency and prices within are meant solely for the test purposes.

    • Stakeholder session update

      On July 10, 2018 the Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) provided notice regarding an upcoming stakeholder consultation session on the modeling and assumptions to be used to support the development of the Capacity Market Design Rules.       The stakeholder session will be held on July 27, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at The Westin Calgary in Calgary, Alberta and will provide a summary of the resource adequacy model and updates to the integrated capacity and energy revenue model. Each of these models is being used to support the AESO’s technical design of the capacity market.
