Customer Connections
In early 2010, the AESO introduced some fundamental changes in the organizational structure of the Transmission Business Unit. To deliver on our commitment to enhance our project delivery and execution capabilities, Project Delivery teams are aligned geographically by the formation of a north team and a south team. Project delivery teams are responsible for both System development and Customer connection projects.
A Program Management approach or regional focus has been implemented within territories to manage System and Customer project interdependencies with the formation of 6 regions. Program Managers are accountable for all projects within an assigned region (coordinated portfolio).
Project coordinators and technical resources allocated to projects full time are now part of the Project Delivery teams. Project coordinators are accountable for the day-to-day management of projects and coordinate AESO resources assigned to work on specific deliverables. The AESO project coordinator will be the main contact for the customer and TFO for the life cycle of the project.
