Tariff Effective May 1, 2008
2008 Tariff Approvals
System Access Service is provided by the AESO to its customers in accordance with its tariff as approved by the Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC, previously the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board or EUB). The following rates and terms and conditions of service were approved by the AUC in Order U2005-464 effective January 1, 2006 with amendments in:
- Order U2006-307 effective January 1, 2006 on Rate FDS and Rider F Corrections;
- Order U2007-309 effective January 1, 2008 on 2008 Rider F;
- Order U2008-2 effective January 1, 2008 on Interim Rider H;
- Decision 2008-014 effective February 13, 2008 on Article 11 and Related Definitions;
- Order U2008-122 effective May 1, 2008 on Rider A4 Amendment; and
- Order U2008-169 effective May 29, 2008 on Amendments to Terms and Conditions
The 2008 tariff is a continuation of the AESO's 2006 tariff, with the exceptions of:
- an increase to the level of the Balancing Pool Consumer Allocation Rider F effective January 1, 2008;
- the addition of Interim Refundable Fort Nelson Rider H effective January 1, 2008;
- the revision of Ancillary Service Article 11 and related definitions effective February 13, 2008;
- metering calculation and line rating amendments in IOL DAT Rider A4 effective May 1, 2008; and
- amendments to Articles 1 and 13 to reflect revised interconnection process effective May 29, 2008.
