From the feedback that was provided by Stakeholders, the AESO has heard that there are concerns with the costs associated with implementing the AMP without legacy treatment. To address these concerns, the AESO is exploring alternative paths to implement the AMP which could minimize or eliminate the costs associated with metering. The AESO has been and is continuing to meet with parties that provided feedback to understand if these alternative paths could address their concerns about costs. Materials discussed at these meetings have been posted on AESO Engage, and other interested stakeholders are encouraged to reach out to tariffdesign@aeso.ca by June 7, 2023 if they would like to discuss the materials. Pursuant to the AESO seeking additional feedback, the AESO will defer filing its AMP Application.
