Automated Dispatch and Message System (ADaMS) tools

Automated Dispatch and Messaging System (ADaMS) is an online platform used by market participants who receive dispatches and/or directives from the Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) system controller. ADaMS is also used to communicate relevant real-time market and system information.

    Accessing ADaMS

A digital certificate is required to access the ADaMS login screen. A username and password used to log into the system will be provided by the AESO. To request an ADaMS account, please complete the form below and submit to info@aeso.ca.

    ADaMS Manual

The ADaMS participant manual provides step-by-step instructions for navigating and use of ADaMS.

    Dispatch Variance Notification

To help maintain their own compliance with the ISO rules, market participants can use our optional dispatch variance notification (DVN) utility. This utility is embedded in our automated dispatch and messaging system (ADaMS). It can send out warnings to participants that may be of use in meeting certain obligations in the ISO rules. It's important to note that use of the DVN utility does not ensure that a market participant is compliant with ISO rules. Read further details in the Dispatch Variance Notification Functionality and Registration Guideline which can be found on the ISO Rules Compliance page under "Additional Resources".
