    Information Session | FFR Services (Interconnected) Procurement REOI

    The AESO is exploring competitive procurements for technology-agnostic Fast Frequency Response (FFR) Services for when Alberta’s electric system is under interconnected conditions.

    A virtual stakeholder session for the Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI) stage of this procurement will be held on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. to:

    • Recap the FFR product and procurement design decisions. 
    • Discuss the REOI requirements and timelines for the interconnected product.
    • Review Mid-term Procurement Plan draft website and survey.
