    Cadomin Substation Upgrade (2969)

    FortisAlberta Inc. (Fortis) has applied to the AESO for transmission system access to meet growing demand for electricity in the Cadomin area. Fortis’ request can be met by the following solution:

    • Upgrade the existing Cadomin substation, including replacing the existing 69/25 kilovolt (kV) transformer with a 69/25 kV transformer of higher capacity.
    • Add or modify associated equipment as required for the above transmission developments.
