    Grid Alerts are issued when the Alberta power system is under stress, and we are preparing to use emergency reserves to meet demand and maintain system reliability.

    How to Subscribe

    Use your preferred RSS Feed Reader or follow these steps for Outlook, Chrome and Edge.

    Outlook

    In Outlook, right-click the RSS Subscriptions folder and choose "Add a New RSS Feed."

    In the New RSS Feed dialog box, enter the URL of the RSS Feed, i.e., https://www.aeso.ca/rss/grid-alert. 

    Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge

    To view our RSS Feed in Chrome or Edge, you will need to download an RSS Feed reader from the Chrome Web Store or the web.

    Once installed, you can add the RSS feed URL into that extension.
