Comments Due | AESO REM Recommendation & Design Elements Survey

Purpose

Over the course of the past four weeks, industry has had the time to digest Minister Neudorf’s announcement on the Government’s Interim Market Power Mitigation and Supply Cushion Regulations, as well as our Restructured Energy Market (REM) Recommendation Report.

As we kick-off our engagement on the REM technical design, we are seeking feedback from interested stakeholders on their perspectives on the REM recommendation and design elements on or before April 30, 2024. This feedback will be shared with the Ministry of Affordability & Utilities to inform their on-going decision making.
