Market Participant Readiness

Market participant readiness is key to understanding the changes introduced by REM, OTP and TRP, ensuring operations, systems and processes remain compliant and operate effectively within the new market structure.

To support market participants, the AESO will:

Develop training materials, guides and readiness resources.
Offer tutorials, workshops, webinars and question periods with AESO subject matter experts to clarify impacts and prepare for and through the transition.
Enable market participants to test, validate and practice interactions with AESO systems and processes before and during go-live.

The AESO will also validate or certify market participant readiness ahead of the transition.
