Planning Area Boundary Data
In response to a data request, the AESO is providing planning area boundary data. The file linked below is in GIS Shapefile (.shp) format for use in mapping software and shows a geographic overlay of the planning area boundaries in the province of Alberta. A PDF map of the planning areas and regions can also be found here. At this time, there are no plans to provide further updates to this information.
